What is the Exchange
The Exchange is a ministry of discipleship based on the redemptive work of Christ through the Cross and Resurrection. The Good News of the Gospel is that although man fell from God’s original purpose of extending His beauty on the earth through oneness with Him, God provided His Son to reconcile what was lost. Christ did what we could not do and made the way for each one to find their full identity and purpose again. The Exchange reveals through teaching and ministry this powerful relationship with the One True Eternal God.
What needs to be Exchanged?
God intended from the very beginning for men and women to walk in His presence enjoying full provision through relationship with Him. That plan and relational position was completely lost when Adam and Eve chose to believe the “Lie” of the serpent, the devil. The devil proposed deceitfully that there was more fruit to be experienced than what God was offering, and if so they were not “okay” without it. So, Eve believed the “Lie” that God was not enough and sin (separation from God and or identity in Him) entered our lives. Mankind was from that moment under the curse of sin and all its destruction to our lives. The Lie or Lies that we buy into from the devil about how life should belived are the Exchange or Exchanges we need to make.
What are we Exchanging for?
As sin and all its horrific effects have ruled our lives through the failure of the first Adam, how much more is God’s intent of righteousness and fullness restored to us now through the Last Adam, Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ Life, Death, Burial and Resurrection we have God’s perfect plan made available again to us through Him. We have the opportunity to “exchange” the lies, sin and its past and present effects for all the heavenly blessings provided for us through Jesus Christ. Now, we can access the power through Christ to live a life worthy of God and to expand His beauty in the earth.
We all have lies we believe, even after becoming a born-again Christian. These lies are the wall that block our mind, will and emotions from receiving and walking in God’s intended blessings and callings for our lives. The Exchange is the Gospel of Jesus; it simply explains that what we cannot do for ourselves God has done for us in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. We must simply believe it and receive it.
